Land Use New Tenant Approval Process and Occupancy Standards for Land Use-only Units All prospective tenants must be approved by HCIDLA for income eligibility prior to occupying a restricted unit under the Land Use program. If an owner/agent does not submit the required approval form/documentation to HCIDLA for approval prior to tenant(s) occupying a Land Use restricted unit, the project will be considered out-of-compliance. NOTE: Occupancy Standards do not apply to Land Use units restricted under other non-Land Use Regulatory Agreements (i.e. Bond, Major Projects, etc.). The standards only apply to those unit restricted solely by a Land Use Covenant. Refer to the attached document for policy details.
