\nMashed potatoes might be the one side dish that everyone can agree on (they just go perfectly with a turkey). But even though we may all agree on it, we all have different recipes and way of making them. For those brave cooks searching for a new potato recipe, here is an excellent one to try. Happy Thanksgiving<\/p>\n

Ingredients
\n5 pounds of peel potatoes
\n1 1\/2 sticks butter
\n8 ounces of cream cheese
\n1\/4 cup of half-and-half<\/p>\n

Heavy cream
\nSalt and pepper
\n5 heads of roasted garlic<\/p>\n

Cut your potatoes into fours (also peel them before hand) and boil for approximately 30 minutes or until they can be easily pierced by a fork or knife. Drain the water and place the potatoes back in the pot on a low heat. Next mashed the potatoes with a fork or masher and allow them to simmer for five minutes.<\/p>\n

Next add in the other ingredients (butter, cream cheese, half-and-half, cream, salt, pepper and roasted garlic). Now mash it all together and adjust the seasonings to your taste. Put the mash in a baking dish and bake at 350 degree for 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy.<\/p>\n
